MAJITHIA claims help center
The Joint Action Committee (JAC) Maharashtra in it’s meeting on Monday 24 October 2016 decided to appoint an advocate to take up recovery claims / complaints of employees of Newspaper establishments for their dues under Justice Majithia Wage Boards Award as mandated by Honourable Supreme Court of India which have been referred to labour courts. Such an advocate will be asked to take care of entire litigation proceedings in consultation with the JAC and referred recovery claims filed individually before the State Labour department by members of the various federating organisations of the JAC on an honorarium basis
The JAC also decided to run a state level centre in the BUJ office premise in Mumbai. The centre will be functional after next hearing of the matter in the supreme court , fixed on 8th of November 2016. All the complainants are advised to contact the JAC convenor and the BUJ activist Indra Kumar Jain with their papers which need to be handed over to the Advocate.Contact Address :
